Just to make sure I can actually spell, are we talking about...

Police Integrity Commission
Independent Commission Against Corruption
New South Wales Crime Commission

Thanks Grant, I've added those agencies (with links to their websites) to the bottom of the list.

Obviously there will be users that may never be positively identified (and I'm sure that's their intention) so unless someone just happens to be sitting next to one of these agencies in traffic and 'connects the dots', we'll just have to live with the mystery!

Thats what we need in life, mystery. That and love, food, money, shelter, respect, admiration, praise - I have to stop reading the Quote of the Day at the bottom of my calender block.

I've just added a new user to the RID list as identified from Wonky's information:

RID in the 261xxxx range used TG 11451

I'm guessing it may be the Penrith Lakes Development Corporation as they are the only other agency that might fit into the same group as ABCTV & Sutherland SC?

all have 230xxxx Rid attached to them.

Now that's a weird one, we had 230xxxx IDs listed as ASNSW radios but their talkgroups are in the 103xx, 203xx & 303xx range?

The 211xx block of talkgroups would have been Railcorp's 'north & west' block if they were using them? I notice that we haven't yet seen any rail talkgroups listed for CountryLink or Australian Rail Track Corporation outside the major centres either?

I wonder if we either have the 230xxxx RID group mislabeled or the ambos are sharing that block with someone else?

Andrew

EDIT: I've just changed the 230xxxx RIDs back to an unknown user on the RID list

Andrew,

Neither Countrylink or ARTC are using talkgroups outside those already known. In fact Countrylink have no TG's at all. All RailCorps TG's commence 11###. I can state with absolute certain that it is not RailCorp.

Interesting find. Can you confirm what sites these the talkgroups were off?

I am assuming these TG's are all encypted, as I have Unitrunker/bcTools running on most Sydney sites during the day and don't have any recordings for the above talkgroups.

If that's the case they may not be encrypted then, as I can't log Mt Gray from where I am. I thought maybe so cause I didn't have any audio recordings, but I wouldn't have any from down that far anyway.
