Re: NSW P25 GRN - Radio ID's - Still to be identified

Post by Scotty » Sat Mar 05, 2011 11:41 am

So with all the 'majors' switched over or well underway with the switchover, there are only a few RID's still to be identified. From my records and the list on first page the ones still to be identified as of March 2011 are:

210xxxx - TGID: 10451
217xxxx - TGID: 10481
226xxxx - TGID: 10821
236xxxx - TGID: 11441
245xxxx - TGID: 11421/11422 - Heard user 'Cal' on 11421
250xxxx - TGID: 11401
299xxxx - TGID: 19940 - Several people talking about 'approval'. One user said, "be aware this is a clear channel so people can here us in both Sydney and Melbourne."

Most are always encrypted, with some likely to be discreet law enforcement users/Government depts. But can anybody confirm?

In the past State Crime Command callsigns have been heard the NSW Police 468Mhz band and largely employed encryption a long time before general duties moved over.

nice, thanks rusty - I wonder if that means we might see a reduction in usage of various other P25 conventional repeaters that exist outside the 468MHz band..
