Back on topic thanks guys - we are here to discuss the technical side of the GRN network, not how we would run our own public safety agencies.

your lucky I didn't get started on the problem with my work and how i'd run it as we'd be here for another couple of weeks and i'd probly end up losing my job for breaching confidentiality..

Yeah I was afraid that's what you meant by "great fat 0 beside them"...

I have read posts on US forums which claim that radio IDs can be "masked" on a trunking system (for their Secret Service) so that every radio on certain talkgroups has the RID "0"

I dismissed the claim at the time but now that you say this Matt, I'm thinking it may in fact be possible after all?

HI all, yeah they kept coming up on those TG's and those same RID's were with it. suprised me too.
im back there tomorrow i'll keep looking

Juvenile Justice has not moved over to P25GRN yet as I heard them this arvo on their old talkgroup 16480 on the non p25 grn
