Wonder how long before we start seeing more users trialing the system? We have a basic list going at the moment, and you could probably work out the services that have at least got new profiles in their radios to access the digital channels. Its not many at the moment.

Obviously the RFS has the new profile, I have heard SES guys on the P25 GRN and I was talking to a bloke I know who works for Energy Aust the other day and he mentioned that their radios had just been upgraded as well... and yes I did hit him up for a channel list but no luck!

No upgrade yet for our local NSWFB station but I guess as Richard has said, they are still testing the new profile?

there are a couple of other agencies over on the grn or about to move over onto the grn fully encrypted...

Stay tuned... you should start seeing the boys from Moto in coming weeks (in Sydney at least). I'm on hols this week & next week is profile lockdown time- all things going well start up is the week after easter.

Let's not go there... there are plenty of reasons why encryption should be used in public safety. Anyone who thinks the bad guys are entitled to hear what is going on clearly need their heads read. But that is not what this thread is about so let's stick to the subject...
