Re: TG 55312
And .... ??????
Re: TG 55312
Well given it is in the clear, would the more useful exercise be to monitor the grn and take notes.
That is how I have gotten on top of a lot of information.
If you take the time to look i have had this discussion on a couple of forums and in particular radioreference which i have basically given up with .... my "day" job now is too demanding timewise
Suffice to say this group is active in the ACT in encrypted mode and it is active in NSW in both clear and encrypted
Not many folk fit the bill
Grant
PS
Programmes like Trunk 88 are very good as well for collection of raw information
Unfortunately too many folk want to be spoon fed
I suspect that is the main reason why the forum is not as active as it could be
One of the things i remember reading in old scanning magazines is the caution not to give away too much information but use it to "horse-trade" with others who know or claim to know
I didn't understand why at the time but i do now
What would be more useful for the hobbyist is to develop the skills to be able to collect information raw (rather than relying on somebody to leak a list) and nut it out.
Maybe a new sub-category in the forum so that folk can share how they do certain things.
There are a lot of things happening under people noses but nobody seems to be listening or bothered to report on it
No doubt I will get attacked for saying it but it needs to be said

Re: TG 55312
You know, it was a simple question, but like always there has to be the smart ass replies! no wonder so many turn their backs on these Scanning Forums and the hobby!
Kev,
My guess would be either:
ACT Ambulance
ACT Fire Brigade
ACT SES or
ACT Ambulance would be on top of my list thou.

With the number of leechers and non-contributors, it's no wonder that people keep info to themselves!JAFO wrote:...no wonder so many turn their backs on these Scanning Forums and the hobby!....
