Any way to program a GRN ID range into Uniden scanners?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any way to program an entire range of NSW GRN IDs into a Uniden scanner (UBCD536PT or UBCD396XT) rather than having to manually enter them one by one? I ask because I am interested in NSW railway transmissions and the railways are allocated a large range of IDs, from 11101 to 11400, so I'd like to have a way of getting my scanners to look for any transmissions within this range. To manually enter them all would mean entering 299 IDs. Either scanning or searching across this ID range would be what I am looking for.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

Are you using software or be entering them via the scanner's keypad?

If using software, then using XL, map out what you want by copying and pasting from your source. Then copy and paste the TG and alias columns into the software (Butel is best for this). You can then fill in the miscellaneous details thereafter.

Should save you a year or two.

Butel software is good. Alternatively, if you are wanting a free option, there is a program called ‘Freescan’ that works well with the XT, and for the PT use the supplied ‘Sentinel’ software.
