Hi all,
Since the GRN went P25 a little ago, everyone with a copy of Pro96com or Unitrunker noted that there is a constant stream of "data' transmissions. Monitoring these transmissions a few years ago with OP25 yielded a stream of terminator dat unit packets, with the occasional "ACK" PDU thrown in for good measure. This suggests the data is only flowing from the mobile radios up to the repeaters and no data is flowing in the other direction.
My question is this - does anyone know what these data transmissions are? I'm looking for some solid info - I'm already aware of the various things that it could be, but I want to know what's actually going on...
Cheers,
Matt
