There are many Digital RFS channels programmed into the new profiles, maybe they are actually using it. I'll check if that talkgroup is programmed in the new profile

It is.

G60 OPS COM3 54864 - using RID 755524

I think they are trying out the digital sound - it is a patch off G59 OPS COM2 30672.
It has been happening on and off for weeks

KEV, FYI: The following are the digital Talkgroups/channels the General RFS units use

GRN P25: G07, G15, G22, G23, G25, G37, G40, G43, G45, G50, G52, G56, G57, G60, G85, G89 (Most of these are country/outer talkgroups and apart from the exec, multi-zone[COM3] and media channels would not get used in the metro area unless a radio is sitting on their channel in sydney.)

CONV P25: F13, F14, F1, F16, S56, S57, S58, S59, S60 (All Simplex)

Any decimal talk groups for those channels? A bunch of channel numbers mean nothing really..

Well this is a scanning forum, and I doubt the majority of people here would even know there was more then one format of Talk group numbers.
Please remember that, and that its not BatLabs.

The list has already been posted by col05_au in the "NSW Volunteers" forum under "30672 Ops Com2" on 25th August last year.
RFS GRN Channel Number, Area name, and Uniden Decimal Talkgroup
Rather than repeat it again, check that forum entry.
