Thanks again Harry, love yer work!

Another easy way to tell if the channel is conventional or trunking, I believe the little RSSI (Image) only shows on the display when the radio is on a trunk network?

I use to have access to a ambo radio untill I left in 2008. Oh and bigfella you are right about the RSSI being displayed on trunk. I wish it worked on normal freq.

I believe the reason why the RSSI is only on trunk channels is becuase it works off the strength of the control channel.

There would be something very similar if you setup vote groups, but it would not be visible unless you setup in your moto radio to display the strongest vote channel when rxing

Harry

You need to line up the Digital Ambo Channels with Motorola Talkgroups
We know most of them but not all
10319 = PTO 1 .... looks 10319 - 10324 is PTO 1-6
Tunnel is probably a digital PMR frequency or an out of sequence channel
Channels 10-24 seem to fit nicely into 10332-10346
Admin 1-18 (ie 10301-10318) must be on another zone
This list is a great help

There is no signal strength indication in conventional mode regardless of whether voting is used (it just displays the name of the base or channel, not the signal strength)- you are correct that it displays the trunking control channel signal strength.

10303 - ASNSW Administration 3

10324 ASNSW PTO OPS 6

ASNSW D SYDNEY

10325 - ASNSW 1 NTH OPS
10326 - ASNSW 2 STH OPS
ASNSW 3 TUNNEL Maybe 416.0625
10327 - ASNSW 4 EST OPS
ASNSW 5 PUTTY Maybe 414.6875
10328 - ASNSW 6 WST OPS
10329 - ASNSW 7 S/W OPS

10334 - ASNSW 12 INCDNT 1
10335 - ASNSW 13 INCDNT 2

Thanks Harry, will have a look tonight also and compare notes. 10303 has been used for training the last few weeks, we know what 10301 and 10306 are also. Im pretty sure ive heard 10317 being used for some sort of training as well.

I think that those channels are probably the Admin channels, being the start of their allocation of numbers. The college of knowledge at Rozelle use these when they are training ambo's.

Cheers
