GRN interference problem.

Post by Mike Alpha » Tue May 05, 2009 6:57 pm

Anyone else notice the weird interference popping up on the GRN? It's been happening on any talk group and on most Sydney sites. Sounds a bit like the frothing sound a cuppaccino machine makes :?

Started last night and it has been happening during most of today. Very annoying!

Unfortunately i don't have a trunking radio at home or in the car at the moment :(
Will have to see how it is when I'm in the truck next.

Is it from a few sites or just the one?

Yup, noticed this too off Beecroft. I initially thought it was some kind of quick data burst... don't think so! :?:

Hi Mike,

Yes i noticed it, i mainly monitor the Kurrajong site both mobile around Richmond and at home and have been hearing it with no discernable pattern as far as TG's or particular freq.

I have been hearing it for well over a week now maybe longer.

Regards

Kev
