I've seen hints about this technology on the forum, but here's the nitty gritty - https://www.telstra.com.au/business-ent ... -emergency

Telstra LANESĀ® Emergency is a world-leading mobile broadband data service designed specifically for the mission-critical communications of Emergency Services. With a Telstra LANESĀ® Emergency service, when Emergency Services connect to our commercial LTE network, they receive:

- Prioritised access on our LTE network, even during the busier periods
- Preferential data treatment through Quality of Service, helping prioritise data
- Bandwidth allocation that can be dynamically shaped to meet spikes in demand
- A managed service with a portal and 24x7 help desk support

After the 4G outages of recent weeks, can Telstra guarantee the "mission-critical" claim? Is the infrastructure public safety rated?

Telstra's mobile network has gone down again this afternoon in a number of cities including Sydney.
The problem is intermittent and to date Telstra hasnt pinpointed the root cause

I personally dont care as I am on Vodafone.
