I happened to be watching a episode of "Persons of Interest" & they showed a shot of the police woman (Carter) radio.
It was a PRO-135 200ch scanner.
I know myself & others have picked up on odd radio items that have been used in movies and TV series in the past.

Anyone that has seen the latest James Bond movie Spectre will notice in the scene were they are in the Tangier desert at the research base that the microwave dishes on the dome building are mounted below the crater ridge line of the surrounding hills. Microwave link = fail !
They would have been better off with some satelite dishes.

In the latest movie "The fate of the furious" you will see two scanners sitting on the bench in the workshop that they are listening to the police on.
You will get a front view of what looks like a Grecom PSR-600.
