New rescue service....???

Post by Mike Alpha » Mon Nov 10, 2014 8:25 pm

I had to do a double-take when I saw this...

But then again, emergency rescue may be warranted. I've been told European cars can be a prone to spontaneous haemorrhaging and dying on the spot.

I was gonna say they'd get more use out of a psychiatric transport for anyone silly enough to buy a VW or Audi

Going by the phone number on the side this is Camden GTI located in Bagdally Road Campbelltown. They specialise in performance work on Golf GTIs.
So I must be pretty silly & need mental help because I drive a Golf GTI going by what Bigfella237 is saying!

Dont get me started on the VW product, It's absolute rubbish, I've never seen cars with 'personality' issues like these things do. Engine lights coming on because youve given them a bootful when cold. Gearboxes(DSG) just sitting there thinking oh i might engage the clutch now and take off as a semi is bearing down on your drivers door. I could go on with millions of issues with them.
I'll give the tip too, if VW want to be the worlds no 1 car maker they'd want to try a lot harder making a good product, Their not even in the ball park as far as Toyota is concerned (The worlds no 1 car maker).

I once inquired about the VW Toureg. The salesman in the showroom did the usual spiel, but also demonstrated how VW uses thicker steel in their bodies. He thumped the door panel with his fist fairly hard. No dent!

Thankfully the price scared me off. I settled on a Toyota Kluger and 180,000 Ks later she still purrs like a kitten. (touch wood)
