Folks for those interested I've commenced putting some of the old info Vicscan had on to a blog. Address is in my signature.
Prompted by questions and the curious.

Excellent news Pumper_50,

I see you've started listing NACs for the MMR sites as well, very handy information, thanks again!

Yes I was a bit hesitant to do so, but given other security factors that form part of the Network I didn't really see any reason as to why I shouldn't as the NAC isn't really the deciding factor in securing the system.

I've also started on expanding on some of your work too and determining who uses what partitioned frequency. As with anything though it will take some time unless some others start helping out a little or sharing their findings.

Example here: http://vicradiozone.wordpress.com/mmr-n ... ency-maps/
Blog Article here: http://vicradiozone.wordpress.com/2013/ ... y-mapping/

I've also updated some Control Channel changes on the MMR Network Sites page. Also Keilor appears to have reverted back to its original Site ID of 0164h-0165, 0164h-0203 is no longer showing.

Hi P50,

Nice work on the new site. I actually think it is laid out better then vicscan ;)

I have a few NAC's for you that are not listed on your sites page as yet (site then NAC):

107 (Cape Schank) 167
109 (Chadstone) 166
123 (Mt Dandy BDA) 163
126 (525 Collins BDA) 161
145 (Ferny Ck BDA) 165
146 (Pretty Sally) 165
149 (Cheltenham) 169
158 (Doncaster) 168
160 (Crazyburn) 160
166 (120 Collins BDA) 16A
218 (Tulla) 16A

Can I ask with the frequency mapping for the sites and the colour allocations, am I right in thinking that these only correspond to the data grants?

Wonky first off many thanks for the NAC assistance. You have no idea how greatly appreciated it is!

The colour coding on the frequency mapping is for 'voice traffic' frequencies, that being what entity is using what frequency for actual conversations (trying to keep it as simple as possible).

I've updated the page to include the NAC's you've provided. Currently highlighted in green and placed a credit and thanks in the comments section.

Glad to help P50.

I don't know why but unitrunker doesn't seem to always save the NAC for some sites. Fortunately I have managed to find the screen shots I took of unitrunker 'info tab' on each of the followings sites (for times like this :) so the NAC's are:

104 (Bass Hill) 164
105 (Briarty Hill) 165
106 (Drouin) 166
108 (Geelong) 169
110 (Dandynong) 000
112 (Mt Beenak / Egg Rock) 16B
115 (Frankston / Mt Eliza) 16B
117 (Hastings) 167
120 (Lake Mtn) 160
121 (Cranbourne Sth) 161
139 (Tynong / Mt Towt) 16B
143 (Phillip Island) 163
152 (Upper Beaconsfield) 162
154 (Whittlesea) 164
161 (Cranbourne) 161
167 (Carrum) 167
185 (Red Hill) 16A
186 (Park Orchards) 166
187 (Research) 167
188 (Berwick) 168
190 (Pakenham) 160
191 (Cockatoo) 161
205 (Lorne) 162
206 (Melton) 168
208 (Bacchus Marsh) 165
211 (Mt Cowley) 000
215 (Ocean Grove) 165
216 (Peters Hill) 161

I also noted that i heard 420.0250 (Site 109 displayed on Radio) in the Mullum Mullum Tunnel (Eastlink)

I do have some notes, sitting in a sheet here, if the op of that site wants to flick me a message and I can pass the info on. All of the data was gathered from either the Control Channel and/or the Peer/Neighbour List, (info is about 9 months old)

For those interested I've put up a new blog piece today with a bit of a in depth look at the MFB's Portable radios UiD's on the MMR Network that are assigned to their appliances. Over recent months I've noticed a bit of a pattern with them and it was confirmed today.

Hopefully some find it of interest.
