Uniden Marine radio problems

while out on the water Last thursday using my marine radio as normal communicating with another boat. Towards the end of the night It stops receiving, the speaker still works (key beeps) and also transmits fine. I have have it at home atm where it is dry and have another radio to test with. what should I do? bin it and replace, repair it?

Have you contact Uniden? They have an office in Sydney and may be able to repair it? I think theres a member on this forum who has contact or more information about Uniden.

I took the radio to the Rockdale the service couldn't of been better after a few days they contacted me and they were going to replace the unit with a new one. All good apart from one of the side nut has no thread in it.

okay this has happened again I ship it to Rockdale and see what Uniden can do.
