Hey,
A while ago i got handed this radio. an "AOR AR10000XLT"
I have no idea about it, i know it used to scan police, but that was about 7 or 8 years ago when scanning was no interest to me, this radio usd to belong to a family friend. I Realise it is analog.
Just wondering if anyone has had experience with one, and can give me any advice on it.
Cheers,
Alex
Anyone know anything about this?
Re: Anyone know anything about this?
Used to be a popular radio, in the 90s.
From memory, they were among the best.
Should cover anything analog.

As usual, Google is always your friend
frequency range is 500 kHz-1300 MHz without gaps
for more info including link to a user manual: http://www.radiopics.com/AOR/AR1000XLT.htm

The AOR 1000XLT is a great scanner. I have had one for about 10 yrs now and still use it every day.
I downloaded a "Guide to the AR1000" by Howard Bornstein from a Google search
and this gives all the info...tips...shortcuts etc that you will ever need.
Have fun.
