KIRISUN S760U UHF 400-470MHZ DIGITAL RADIO

Post by freqwaves » Fri Apr 25, 2014 1:22 pm

Has anyone looked at this radio for receiving DPMR?
It states the Digital modulation as 4FSK.
Frequency range:400—470MHz
Specs mentioned don't say if it's programmable through keypad or via a computer program.

Not sure, but 400-470 wont get you very far in Sydney, theres a little between 463-467 but majority of its above 485mhz!

They are DMR type1 which is not tdma, I have seen them around the local ham clubs but they are not type approved and in Australia for anything else (unless this has changed in recent times)

Programming has been via CPS on pc but the radio firmware is actively developed and this could be a feature.
Don't like it, either get over it or retire

They are on ebay for under $200,haven't seen one yet that has a higher frequency range in the 470-500mhz range.
Thanks for the replies.
