Pairing UBC-RH96 with UBCD396XT

Hi all,

Has anyone on here tried to connect the UBC-RH96 to a UBCD396XT yet only to find the two will not pair?

Have come across one other person in another forum who has reported the same issue, anyone here experienced the same issue?

Just downloaded the firmware file and can't get it update the head. Has anyone managed to upload it yet.

I am using the UBC VUP 1.5.2 for updating the 996T / 396T

Power up the RH 96 while holding down the L/O and 6 button to put it into firmware mode

Run the update software, select the RH-66 2.00.01.scn file

Select the comport and speed (tried all of the speeds) and it won't upload.

Any suggestions

OK I have solved the problem, you need to use the US version of the firmware update software BC-UP 2.07.

I have uploaded here to save anyone searching for it:

Installed the first time without a problem and so far the XT is working fine with the RH 96

Tried earlier this morning to update the RH96 before heading out, like you with no success. Will give the US Software a go tomorrow morning

Sorry to dig up an old post but does anyone know if I need to go through this same process if I was to buy a 996XT from the states and try and pair it up with my Aussie RH96?
