Apart from me, is there anyone else on this forum using the Homepatrol?
If so, I am looking for feedback on a couple (eight really) of questions.
1. Given that this is a North American centric scanner, did you find it difficult, or semi difficult or easy to adapt it to Australia conditions?
2. Do you think the operation of the HP1 is suited to the new or limited experience scanner user, or more suited to the experienced user?
3. If the HP1 was introduced to Australia, would you be happy to 'go it alone' re database updates, or would you like to see a pay as you go downloadable database, as per Radio Reference? Remembering that you supply information for free to RR then have to buy it back.
4. Did you do the Extreme upgrade to your HP1?
5. Did you find the experience easy, moderately difficult, or difficult?
6. Do you think the features of the HP Extreme is worth the cost?
7. What features would you like to see in the HP? Remember that they have to be realistic.
8. Do you another software package, other than Sentinel? Eg: Butel, FreeScan or other.
Thanks
Russell Bryant
