UBCD536-PT CC Custom Search Site ID?
UBCD536-PT CC Custom Search Site ID?
Hi all,
Just checking if I'm missing something in my settings.
Unlike other Uniden Scanners (396 & 996) I have owned, I' have found while using Custom Search an on the UBCD536-PT, it doesn't display the Whole Trunk "Site ID" like the other scanners did . . . bit of a pain while travelling and trying to identify new GRN Sites or New CC Frequency for existing Sites.
Am I missing a hidden settling or is this just the Norm for the UBCD536-PT like I thinking it is.
Grant

I think this is a known issue with these scanners and you have to the use analyze menu feature and input/select the frequency to review the site details.
Re: UBCD536-PT CC Custom Search Site ID?
Really!
How many identified CC do we have now?
That would make the 740klm trip out to Mungindi a two day road trip with all the stopping to use the analyze menu feature

I tried this back when you posted it, couldn't get it work for the life of Me.
Today I watched a YouTube video of setting up the Analyze Function . . . and got it to work
What's even better is . . . is if I have the NSW GPS Scan System active, when I go into the 536PT Analyze Menu, and Press the Function Button again, the Current Active System comes up, so if I'm scanning My NSW GRN GPS System, it displays each of the Active GPS GRN Sites that I am within their GPS Footprint, I can then select one of those in the list . . . this is great . . . this means as I enter the GPS Footprint of an Unidentified GRN Site that's in my GPS Scan List, that Unidentified Site is listed in the Analyze List so I can then run Analyze and identify the site . . . So happy about that.

Re: UBCD536-PT CC Custom Search Site ID?
Somebody has asked me how to activate the P25 Control Channel ID to display under the Analyze function for the Uniden 536PT
I do not own a Uniden 536PT (well not yet) but it would likely to be my next purchase if I did, so in a way I am also interested in the answer
I would appreciate if somebody could show how it can be done step by step.
I have tried to figure it out from JAFO's picture and then looked at "Marks scanner guide for Uniden 536PT", checked radiorag and looked extensively on Youtube.
Talks about everything else but so far no cigar.
While I think of it does it work for DMR and NXDN control channels as well
