Replacement Aerial

Can anyone give ideas on a replacement aerial on my 396 xt ?

yeah I'm up for one as well, both mine have broken outers. Still work fine but look crap.
Iv used the mobileOne on the bnc adapter previously, but its a lot longer.
Im primarily only using the 396 for grn, so a stand alone 412-420 or so would be great , with sma or what it is.

The Diamond RH770 works a treat if you can put up with the length. They're normally used as a 2m/70cm handheld whip.
Been using them for years long before i got my amateur licence on my scanners.
Available too with SMA connector, normally BNC. Just add an S to the end of the part number.
