According to the internet:

Transurban Group has six roads in its Australian portfolio:

1) Melbourne
CityLink in Melbourne

2) Sydney
Five of the nine roads in the Sydney orbital network - Hills M2, Eastern Distributor, Lane Cove Tunnel, Westlink M7 and the M5 Motorway.

Each of the Sydney roads has their own frequencies
The Tollaust frequencies (last time i looked in detail) refer to M2 locations only

The 2x that haven't expired on the ACMA are:
485.100- M2 Motorway (1watt)
475.000 - M2 Tollplaza (5watt)
These are simplex channels, low powered for possible contact between booths & main office.
I use to receive the M2 roadcrews on 507.875 (st-141.3) but noticed this is no longer registered in the ACMA either.

Was sitting next to a m7 crew truck and the got 2 aerials, one us normal UHF rubber type about 30cm or so and the other one was a plastic/rubber one about 15cm with a thick base till about half way up then thins out couldn't get a image but that might help.

Did a bit of playing around with the ACMA entries in the scanner, and these seem to be quite active throughout the day. The M2 was heard as far away as Elizabeth Dr(M7). As for the other entries, i haven't heard anything on them, but they are all setup in a bank and will update if anything heard. The M5 East Control channel was fairly busy during the 3-5pm peak.

M2 Motorway Control - 507.8875 (st-141.3)
M5 East Motorway Control - 509.3500 (st-114.8)

Need to check/confirm..

Cross City Tunnel Conrol - 508.8750
M5 Moorebank (Interlink) - 505.1500
M5 Moorebank (Interlink) - 505.4500
Sydney Harbour Tunnel (North Pylon) - 462.325 and 462.075

M5 Moorebank (Interlink) - 505.1500
M5 Moorebank (Interlink) - 505.4500
I have never heard anything on these channels & have always wondered what they are using,if anything unless they are low powered between office & booths.

I have just returned home from a day of scanning in Sydney.

4 demerit points gone and a fine of $361.00 later I was able to confirm the following as active

462.075 Harbour Tunnel Crews 146.2
505.450 M5 123.0
508.875 Cross City Tunnel 127.3
509.350 M 5 Control 114.8

470.500 Eastern Distributor 162.2

Can anyone advise who the crews are that use "zulu" prefix callsigns on the RTA channels ??

Oh well, at least if you have a heavy vehicle licence they give you two extra points to spend nowadays!
