Need Help on Car Antenna Mount
Need Help on Car Antenna Mount
Hi All,
I just got a new 2010 Territory, I want to get a passenger side mount for my antenna, I dont want to drill holes and I know there is a mount that uses the panel bolt to lock it in, have you guys seen where I can get one of these from?? it is a z bracket with the extra bends to fit the territory front guard but I cant find this one any where and i really need to get one asap....
Here is the same bracket as I need but only in a L and not a Z with the panel bolt hole..notice the extra bends in it.
Can anyone help me out please!
Cheers
Jas

Or Benelec at Mascot or Standard Communications (the bracket shown I think comes from Standard Communications). They all stock them- or try a reseller like Mastercom at Granville.

Either way when you run that bracket, Do it properly and run a nutsert .I've done both my hilux's and they are no problem. You will hardly notice them if you sell the car down the track. They blend in well I feel,no rough looking stuff.
Get your radio shop to help you installing the nutserts, if you've not done them before it can turn to poo quite quickly. The nutsert guns arn't cheap too around 300 bucks

Re: Need Help on Car Antenna Mount
Why not just buy the z bracket, and bash it flat with a mallet to make it an L shape. Thats what I did, fits perfect on my Territory, though I think I had to leave a bit of an angle in it to make it vertical.
Re: Need Help on Car Antenna Mount
but they cant be flat, they need to shape the front fender that is NOT flat..
Also L bracket wont hold my antenna

I just bent mine a bit to make it right. When it stops raining I'll try take a pic of it.
