The majority of the private bus company's in Sydney use the Orion DMR Trunking network. There are also a few on the Vertel NXDN network.

Of course there are the public buses (State Transit Authority) which are on analog 470 and 480mhz (see posts on this forum). The Government is planning to privatise them and has let out the first contract

A search of the ACMA on the bus companies still with licensed PMR channels is:
162.675 - Forest Coaches
163.975 - Metrolink Green Valley
165.050 - Transdev Mt Kuringai
490.800 - Cumberland Coachlines

I'm hearing a distant signal of bus communications on 470.675 - st-156.7
Talk of taking the bus to the yard & parking it behind another bus.
A check of the frequency on ACMA shows no bus company registered to this channel.
