Its all GSM-R now for drivers, guards, signallers and train controllers
I wonder if someone told Metronet? Still working today...

Information received is that GSM-R is somewhat of a disappointment and not getting on and playing nice.

Doesn't surprise me, the wrong system for the network.

A good website. For those that use phone apps the majority of the info is also available from TfNSW on apps like 'NextThere' and 'TripGo'.

The metronet is only working in the metropolitan area for non-suburban fleet trains .
GSM-R is suppose to be the only system up now in the "Sydney trains" metropolitan area for the suburban fleet
All suburban sets have been fitted out already
