"9K80D7W"
Saw this emission designator (which I had never seen before) on a new entry in the ACMA
http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/assig ... ID=1236566
Searching via google suggests it is:
P25 Phase II fixed-end 2-slot TDMA (Harmonized Differential Quadrature Phase Shift Keyed modulation - H-DQPSK)
Apparently the latest Motorola P25 systems support this (as Citibria has alluded to in the recent past)
https://www.motorolasolutions.com/conte ... _sheet.pdf
Is this the designator for P25 Phase II equipment?

There is also a reference I come across on google for harris

and Tait

two other manufactures slow it as the correct designation for the infrastructure end of the system. I agree with you, It could be the actual correct designation for p25p2 trunking channel.
And after a little digging found this via google

Don't like it, either get over it or retire
