Im heading to Sydney this weekend for a scan and staying in a Hotel at Nth Syd. Heading down Friday morning then back home Sunday night

I was thinking, can I still scan Luna Park, if so, can anyone help me out with some info ?

No acma enteries for Sydney Luna Park (only Melbourne)
Money is on 800Mhz tetra or 500Mhz Motorola GPT DMR

It likely won't be much held for you now Garry, but when I was near Luna Park back around 2006 they used rental radios. From memory the channels were registered but not at Kirribilli/Milsons Point. They may still use rental channels, but likely DMR or similar nowadays.

Luna Park are currently using TR Hirecom with DP series portables.
ACMA now shows them as licensed to the Luna Park site with active DMR heard on the repeater channels.
