476.625 MHz is UHF CB Channel 9, so there could be numerous other users on the frequency.

Now that you know the frequency, put that in your scanner and run a tone scan. Almost certain that they are using either CTCSS or DCS, especially since its a UHF CB channel. Once you know the tone program that as well, and that should cut out some interference.

Think I may know where he is. I've picked up his transmission on closecall and spotted an antenna nearby.

My PSR800 picked it up on closecall from Maroubra Rd, Maroubra, 5/5.

Thanks guys for all your replys once I unscrewd my arial on my scanner I only get there channel and no interference so I am happy Scotty thanks but not really sure how to do a tone scan ,I added to my construction group and saved it thats about it .)matthewn1983 not sure my crane Channel I can post tomorrow if you like ! Got a few crane channels for my last site at Zetland if interested

Its interesting, I heard 2-3 from under your crane, there's a few job sites around the eastern suburbs. I caught about 1/2 dozen at Macquarie Park yesterday from the roof of the shopping centre.
