Home Weather Stations - Remote Access

Just wondering if anyone runs a home weather station with some form of remote data connectivity, for example IP or Ham Radio APRS?

I'm looking to set something up, but a few minites of web browsing and seeing the prices is starting to stop the idea!

Does anyone have some insight into a resonably cheap solution?

Even a ham radio APRS set up would do, as it it easy enough to monitor it on the APRS internet web pages. (Yes I have a ham licence). Of course, IP connectivity including NextG would also work.

I guess there are two areas - the actual weather station, and the data connectivity methodology.

The software on mine auto uploads data every 5 min to my webserver(not at same location as wx), as well as wunderground. Is that what your talking about?

Yes, any solution that allows remote access or remote reading of the weather data. I'm trying not to have tunnel vision, and will look at all suugestions or examples.

Try Cumulus application, compatible with most stations, there is a couple if others around too.

I have had one of these for a while. works with Cumulus. Never put mine online. I always meant to but hung it on the wall for everyone to see instead.

Thanx ... Looking for a device for a volunteer group, stand alone will do, internet access can come a bit later.
