Re: Port Botany Related
Botany also has a fair few users on the Tetra ZEON network however they are boring as hell to listen to. I'll check the log but at least 15 active talkgroups.
Airport also has another fair few on Zeon. several hire car companies, shuttle bus between terminals, security in both domestic and international, cerb parking, cleaners etc. long term carpark also has them. active all day and up until around midnight.

Yep, noticed a fair few Zeon users around the Airport, including Cathay Pacific, Sydney Airports Corp, SECOM Security, Hertz Rental Cars and a few others.

Can I ask how you guys are monitoring TETRA? I didn't think it was a network that could be scanned with any current equipment. It's starting to pop up everywhere, so would be keen to know.
(PS: I'm sure I asked this in the 'Sydney Taxi' thread as well but now can't find that message?)

Hi Scotty, I'll send you a PM. Not going to post details on the forum in the current climate. Let's say its not a recent development.Scotty wrote:Can I ask how you guys are monitoring TETRA? Add Park and Fly (Sydney Airport) to the Zeon user list. Mobile radios installed on the dashboard of all their vehicles.
Carbridge (Bus Transport) are using TRBO by the look of the radios in their busses.

Last time I captured this frequency they were on 463.850 - st-118.8 but would not surprise me if they have now gone digital.Carbridge (Bus Transport) are using TRBO by the look of the radios in their busses.
Another Patricks Ports frequency which is quite active at night & can be heard across Sydney is 465.575 - st-162.2

Carbridge still going on those frequencies, standard uhf. No CTCSS/PL. If you want to double check, but all 3 were no tone.
