Loggings
Re: Loggings
Just reactivated the repeater at Canterbury Hurlstone RSL.
TX freq: 500.075mhz
Dipole mounted on the roof so get's a good view across Sydney.
Interested to know if anyone can monitor this from their home.
Will let you work out the subtones.

Re: Loggings
Anyone know what the open carrier pulse which happens every 1 minute on 163.1125 is? Sounds like the old analogue LTR systems.
Frequency registered to Liverpool council with transmitter located in Silverdale.
Thanks, John.

Re: Loggings
Have been monitoring 464.3625 expecting to receive some activity from Miranda Westfields as they are one of the companies listed under this frequency license. Instead I am hearing what sound like a courier/transport company picking up pallets of stock. From the companies listed under this frequency nothing comes close to being this.
Re: Loggings
Anaconda at Supa Centa Moore Park on 462.1625 MHz CTCSS 77 Hz.

Since this is low powered, freq is used across Sydney for different retailers. Does a list of common freq exist for this sector? Have noticed the Motorola CLP increased in popularity over the years.

Re: Loggings
The Motorola CLP do come with a low power certified channels.
My company has sold alot in the past to Chemist Warehouse.
The Kenwood PKT23 radios are now becoming more popular as well due to their small size.
Mainly programming these to UHFCB channels unless customer has a registered frequency.
Don't know of any common list but you will see the same frequency used for each Kmart store across the country for example.
Looks like more shops are wanting to communicate with their staff across the floor, maybe to improve the customer service.
