Re: ESO 10 Enough already
I totally agree, it's gotten way out of control. The easiest way to fix the problem is to un-patch channel X-Ray until it's needed for an inter-agency operation, at which time it could be patched into the appropriate PF channel, but only for the duration of the op. Re: Westmead Hospital AWIS
ah cool, that sounds familiar
mind you RNSH was funny as they could in the old building activate the lights, but they had no way of bringing the patient into the hospital as they had no swipe card access.. hope this is fixed in the new building

RNSH has something similar when i used to work there, but we always had the lights on for the choppers

Re: APX Radios now in use
nice, ambo's probly need it more than the cops to show the shit they deal with from agressive patients that want to belt them.. Cops have the tools to for a worse word "fight back" whereas all the ambo's can do is stop the vehicle, push their duress button and let the person go off trashing the vehi...

Re: Tallest residential building in Parramatta
I'm not arguing with your point Rusty, there is certainly a lot of mis-information out there (and no doubt several hospital administrators that think they know better than a Motorola engineer), but you could hardly compare a cheap Chinese radio to a professionally installed, multi-million-dollar GR...

Re: Tallest residencial building in Parramatta
ah ok, and i guess as well if you wanted to create havoc with radio comms it would be far eaiser if you had to knock out just a couple of sites around the city rather than 5 or 10 smaller ones...

Counter Disaster Dept at the H...
