Re: Is there a problem with board cookies?

Hi all,

The email settings have been modified to prevent emails coming from the board going into your spam. The leaves the permissions issue as the only outstanding one. We will let everyone know once this is sorted out.

Cheers,
Matt

Re: Is there a problem with board cookies?

There two outstanding issues now:- 1) HTTP 403 error in the GRN thread. This is a known issue with Apache’s security module. It can bit fiddly to troubleshoot but I am working with the hosting provider to get it fixed. 2) Some of you may be seeing emails from the board marked as spam. This is due to...

Re: Is there a problem with board cookies?

Yeehaa, it works! Many, many thanks Matt! Not at all Andrew - the thanks should all go to you for your dedicated hard work and relentless contributions over the past decade! Many people don’t fully understand the hundreds, if not thousands of hours that you have put into the GRN thread in particula...

Re: Is there a problem with board cookies?

If they try, they will be redirected to HTTPS. Second, the links coming out in the email alerts have been changed to use the HTTPS prefix/pr...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)

Since Andrew is busy with other things, we have discussed it and matthewn1983 and myself will start updating the list over the next couple of weeks.

So yes, while it is out of date, please keep posting up submissions and we will add them shortly.

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (Notes)

Confirmed by good old fashioned RDF / fox hunting that this is a test site running in the workshop at the GRN NOCC. Taking the antenna off my PSR500, I was getting the CC full strength while parked near the NOCC at Castle Hill. As I drove more than 200 meters away in any direction, the signal streng...

Re: New Callsign Management and Allocation

Wow, I'm surprised - I thought there were provisions for previous callsign holders to get their callsign back...

Unless it was allocated to someone else and they have held it for a period of time, that is.

Re: New FRNSW Incident/Fireground (TASK) Frequencies?

The APX8000 is quad-band, - VHF, all of UHF, as well as 7/800MHz, but of course, the 7/800MHz functionality is wasted here in Oz!! APX8500 quad-band mobiles are due later this year. G'day all, Yes we switched to P25 Fire Ground Freq's late last year. Currently having new Dual Band Handheld Radio's r...
