Internally there is a rough time frame but not released to customers. I understand that the 4G solution has been tested. That's about all I can say.

Sounds like the Tait compatibility wasn't tested well before issue. Reminds me of the EF Johnson radios brought in by Benelec for analogue GRN way back. They sort of worked. Apparently many settings didn't translate well from EF Johnson world to Motorola world.

I don't think there will be a migration to DMR, NXDN etc.

I understand that Telstra is developing PTTOC capability, it has been trialled in the past, and a new development may be the change of what is now known as Fleetcoms to PTTOC / 4G in the medium term.

I remember when the DR NOCC site was originally chosen, we evaluated that it wasn't in a choice spot for RF linking, or indeed hosting its own site. Having a short link to the high point seems to prove this.
