Re: NSWFB - firefighting helmets
6 years on . . . these helmets are the most expensive over rated Helmet I've ever been issued with. Can't lower the Visor to protect One's SCBA Musk. Can't find the LED Light Switch with Gloves on Takes about an Hour to replace a damaged visor, which puts you off line as you don't have a complete se...

Re: FRNSW Appliance Callsign Prefix
OK, SEV is not a Callsign, its a Fleet asset. The SEV takes on the Station Appliance they are Temporally Replacing. If an SEV is assigned to a Task Force, then it takes on the Callsign ST-P = Strike Team Pump or ST-T = Strike Team Tanker with the "Number" as seen on the door below the SEV Lettering....

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Don't you just love when you learn something New. Since I've had My 536PT, the one thing that I had missed, was the ability to see the CC Site ID Info, espessially the Site Number like my old 396XT dose when it stops on a CC. astro_boy did tell me about the Analyze Function back in July, which I tri...

Re: UBCD536-PT CC Custom Search Site ID?
I think this is a known issue with these scanners and you have to the use analyze menu feature and input/select the frequency to review the site details. Mate, I tried this back when you posted it, couldn't get it work for the life of Me. Today I watched a YouTube video of setting up the Analyze Fu...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Do you have a frequency for 004-016?? It is probably a similar site to Warragamba 004-015 that was in low powered site mode for a time (but now switched off until it gets commisssioned) There a quite a few of them around the metro area No nothing with 004-016 since over last weekend. starting to th...

Re: GRN Albury
Very good.. thanks for the reply. Will advise when the area fires up. A lot of the comms in the area for Many of the services has been very average for a long time… hopefully improvements aren’t far away!! Comm's in the Hume Region are actually quiet good, unlike what it use to be. There was a Majo...

Re: GRN Albury
With all of the Sites added on the ACMA Database for the Southern Region, it's not a matter of 'if' but a matter of when will Albury Switch over. The switch over will occur once the GRN Footprint within the Greater Hume, Corowa, Wagga, Junee, and Tumut LGA's is wide enough to provide Safe Radio Cove...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
So last night around 10pm . . . I did a little search, and thought I' had seen Site 464 and 416 come up in a CC search. This morning I did another CC search and yep . . . 420.3250 - Z4-064 come up in my search from the Penrith area. 416 pop again this morning too, but didn't record the CC, so will t...
