Interesting to note i heard a single (what sounded like) MDC-1200 tone at the end of one of the transmissions recently from a unit on the ground using this frequency

Sounded like to me they have then gain on the mic set way too high, hard to listen to for more than 5 minutes.

Can confirm Northconnex site 01-110 cc 416. 1875. Recently went for a quick run up to Ballina and back, all I had with me was the G2 as I headed north. One of the numbers on the number pad has DISP (or similar below it) Function key and that should toggle.
But i can't remember if it needs to be on Hold or Scanning for it to work, it only works on one or the other.
It will show on the screen the words, 2 line / 3 line display

Great work Dave, coming in loud, but i'm sure you noticed a bit of background noise on the feed? I’ve bitten the (tax time) bullet and purchased myself a G2 to have a fiddle with and add to the collection. Wow what can i say but what a solid unit this device is, I went for the G2 due to the stubby uhf external antenna and it works surprisingly well, it can literally sniff signals out of the air...
