Heard North Ops referring cars to the 'Channel 14' Hospital channel just this week.



Edit; It appears as though Channel 14 correlates to 'North Incident 4' channel which they are now using to pass code 3's.

Looks like site 001-010 has made the move to 004-061.

I think this is a known issue with these scanners and you have to the use analyze menu feature and input/select the frequency to review the site details.

There's going to be some changes to the providers of installs & maintenance of the rfs/frnsw paging equipment so i've heard, you'll see these popping up at the same location as the GRN towers operating together.

Noticing the newer sites coming online appear to be 80w output, any reason for this? just trying to squeeze more coverage out of the tower ?

I think someone has changed, i've heard a lot of activity on the following channels recently, with the rain and floods last month. Users calling up State Operations but the channel ID doesn't really refer to this. Also local crews not even using local channels anymore but calling up on the 'state' c...
