Re: Help needed - RFS & SES, Mid Murray (non GRN).

OP you are confusing conventional and trunking. Talkgroups are NOT used in emergency services conventional voting systems (some Americans use it in larger areas). The frequency/repeater list you have displayed a copy of is what you want. You need the repeaters' tx frequency and then if you choose yo...

Re: Help needed - RFS & SES, Mid Murray (non GRN).

I'd wait until they start installing. The biggest reason I say that, the expansion here where I am north of Sydney has all new CC frequencies instead of the old list. So guaranteed when the install is done there you'll have to add or change some controllers. RadioReference has the talkgroup codes yo...

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies

Fair enough though we've been tied with CC a few times so whilst they seem to like their regulars they're rather dynamic if any area gets hot. Though they seem to hate or at times perhaps refuse our area on a high fire danger day lol. They like lobbing us with a short notice of we need you in this d...

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies

I could have sworn I've heard LH strapped to Midcoast at OCC a few times. I know they LOVE strapping MidCoast and MidNorthCoast and Cumberland together.

Re: ASNSW PMR P25 or analog?

GRN now expanding into northern NSW (I see 3 sites thus far online in the Manning area). I hear KJ OHUN on it along with F/R so good guess Mike (not a hard one but a good one). Only the cops and RFS wasted money going P25 conventional before the GRN expansion. Of them only 1 will compete being force...

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies

Lower Hunter last I heard is on the GRN already so directly linked to Homebush. I'm surprised they're already not on the OCC Tomfoolery (my opinion is nastier than Tomfoolery and for good reasons I'm not thinking are right to discuss here). The people who work there (especially Hayden and Ben) are b...

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies

E017 was Wingecarriby (unsure of spelling) and E018 was Wollondilly so that would stand to reason they become the SHLD especially considering the "e"Gxxx chanels. I haven't updated my portable yet so still have the old channels/names in it with just some minor changes in the eG section done.

Re: NSW RFS Profile V10.4.3

Right so jumping to conclusions. I have a fair idea of the RadComm act I believe it's 2003 the ammended version. Last I read it said nothing about havin tx info in there rather the ability to tx and that's the words of ACMA themselves. That's why they don't like Baofengs either, because of "ability"...
