Re: Sydney Light Rail

New frequencies are being allocated for the Sydney Light rail (Altrac Light Rail) with frequencies to 5 decimal places - 465.49375.
Looks like digital going by the emission designator. Does anyone know what type of network?

462 to 463mhz UHF Band now simplex

Just happened to be going through the 462mhz range & found alot of frequencies now allocated for simplex use.
This range was previously allocated as a repeater output band.
Since the RFS has vacated this range alot of the frequencies have been allocated to Retail shop vendors.

Re: Oldest radio scanner in daily use?

I'm still using a Realistic Pro2006 for airband monitoring connected to a discone antenna.

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies

Thanks Matt, been checking the ACMA database in my lunch breaks & all have disappeared from their allocated frequencies.
But some 161mhz VHF Band fireground frequencies still allocated.

Regards, John.
