Re: New Manager for Government Radio Network - Airwave Solut

If security is private for a govt location, they should be using their own form of communications as per the requirements in the tender. If they cannot prove that they have the required capacity to do this, someone else should be given the contract. A private company is exactly that. They should inv...

Re: New Manager for Government Radio Network - Airwave Solut

I could be wrong I'm confused at you...

Re: Updated Digital PMR Listing

I bet that these are an expansion to their existing connect plus network. All sites excluding the airport are existing locations with low capacity. Another Mastercom TRBO network (Emission 7K60FXE) being rolled out on the ACMA database in the past 3-4 weeks Grant Mastercom Tx Parramatta 502.3375 502...

Re: National Parks & Wildlife

I was just wondering if there might be an ulterior motive for the move to the higher band, or at least a convenient side effect... Moving to this band allows NPWS to make use of dual-band radios (like the Motorola APX7000/7500), allowing them to have both their own VHF network and the NSWGRN in the...

Re: Fire Season Early

Also sounds like trucks are having a lot of fun trying to work out what radio channel to go to. I assume the rfs is progressing quite slow with the roll out of their new profile and its causing a bit of confusion. Cheers Radio traffic is nuts! What a mess! Crews going to different channels on the s...

Re: Aldi $99 UHF CB radio

I was nearly going to buy a Oricom UHFCB until I read the reviews.Receive circuit is not good & other problems experienced by owners. You get what you pay for. John. If times are that tough and you need to buy an Aldi radio, flick me an email and i'm sure for not much more you can get a decent radi...

Re: Commercial 800mhz Trunking Information

Either that or Motorola dont want their Sydney CBD TETRA site with 12 slots of out action with bridgeclimb traffic if they moved them over. Here is some trivia. Bridgeclimb have already trialled multiple digital systems from several vendors. From their point of view, there is a critical factor that...
