Its being operated in a public-private partnership by a company Deutsche-Bahn.

Yep agreed it should be run on the TRN network (and encrypted just in case) but there'd be some reason why its not.

Re: Can hear Brisbane's ABC 612 in Canberra tonight

Not a bad effort Alex. One to try for and it appears from time to time is NewsTalk ZB from Wellington in NZ. I think its 1035khz. I hear it from time to time here in Goulburn on not much more than a car radio sometimes quite strong. Usually hear it when the SBS station in Wollongong is weak. Easy to...

Re: Pager Decoding

Hi all,
PDW goes good, been using it for years now, lately on a thin client. Have it setup to reset during the night, works flawlessly.

Re: NSWGRN is now Phase 2, and has 467MHz bandplan added

G'day all,
As i stated in my last post the TM/TP9400 series are phase 2 radios, the same as a APX series.
As for who gets access to band plan 9 who knows. I'd only be speculating.

Re: NSWGRN is now Phase 2, and has 467MHz bandplan added

Evening all, The Taits that NSW ambulance have are TM and TP9400's which are phase 2 radios. You'll find the control channel will run on the phase 1 bandplan (04-xxxx) which is the current band plan and the phase 2 radios will use band plan 6 for voice, certain users will have access to others like ...

Hi all, it's only been recent too. Unitrunker shows the following and my TRX-1 has captured it already.

Re: NSW Electricity Networks

They're the actual voice channels the 40mhz stuff is point to point.
The NSWEN (FMR. Transgrid) network is pretty quiet down my way, you hear a slow Morse ident every now and then but very little activity.
Cheers
