Re: Car to Air frequency

Andrew and Astro, Crookwell, Boorowa, Young, Harden, Jindabyne, Perisher and Bombala stations in the south east still operate on PMR. The whole of the Wagga, Riverina and Murray (SW NSW) are completely (Bar West Wyalong) on PMR. The Ident is related to the car number, for instance Harden has for ins...

Re: Car to Air frequency

Hi Astro,
Its a Tait proprietary thing. I'm not sure what it's called.
Very common to hear in the PMR areas.

Cheers

Also there was testing of Phase II TDMA channels and talk groups in the ACT off the Mount Ainslie site on the ACTTRN. Re: Help needed - RFS & SES, Mid Murray (non GRN).

Me personally, I wouldn't waste my time even clicking on the radio reference website, it's billed as God's gift to scanning in the US but most of the info for other countries appears to be either well out of date or not accurate to begin with. Andrew, It's not even that great overseas, even in the ...

Seriously? They're V6s now!? Wow...Surely not!?
No, Red Bull tried it, dismal failure. Dead and buried.

The 1130am start is a bit rich though, Bit hard cracking a tin to watch the pre race bullshit.

Re: NSW P25 uniden issue with site numbers above 99

I have finally come to the conclusion that certain Uniden models cannot read site numbers above 99. It just leaves it blank after the zone eg 2d1h-02 instead of 2d1h-02111 for Mt Ganghat west of Taree. Happens with the 396, 325p2, 996 and possibly others. I dont think it is an issue with the SDS mo...

Re: ASNSW PMR P25 or analog?

Only the cops and RFS wasted money going P25 conventional before the GRN expansion.
You could add FRNSW and the SES to that list as well. Certain sections of the cops are already over onto the GRN too.
