Re: GME TX3540 Squelch Problem
Could this be related to the network heartbeat pulses? Not sure, but the FRNSW pulses are transmitted every 60 seconds down the Monaro. How long does the scanner dwell for when it receives a carrier while scanning? This is the thing though, even during heartbeat, it still cuts out frequently while ...

Re: GME TX3540 Squelch Problem
Ah, thanks so much for checking that out. I definitely have no idea what was causing this problem considering it's working fine in Sydney... will be remaining a mystery for a while!

Re: Waringah RFS
Are you saying Monaro RFS PMR is patched into GD51 Monaro?Farsouthscanner wrote:I think this is the only stream to have the Monaro RFS on it. I can get them most of the time off Brown Mountain so if they are on that site you should hear them.

Re: GME TX3540 Squelch Problem
It's definitely not a priority scan. It seems the priority scan only operates with the radio is set to 'group scan' mode, but it's set to 'open scan' which apparently means it won't check the channel. Very strange!

Re: GME TX3540 Squelch Problem
Just a thought... most, if not all my frequencies stored in Sydney range between 460MHz and 470MHz, whereas all in the Snowies are 413MHz-420MHz. Could the antenna be possibly not as receptive in the lower 400's compared to the mid to high 400's? I still don't see the antenna being an issue given th...

GME TX3540 Squelch Problem
Hi all. Strange problem, and I'm not sure if it's my radio or the networks (highly doubting this). I've been doing lots of trips to the Snowy Mountains over the last few months, and have found FRNSW PMR 801-804 (Cooma/Jindabyne/Thredbo/Perisher), and Snowy River RFS are coming through the radio with...

Re: No registration link!
You're right, it did drop off after the 3.0.10 upgrade! It has been re-enabled requiring administrative approval given the large amount of spam bots joining at the moment. Currently working on a new Captcha system to hopefully avoid bots mass registering. Thanks for letting me know. Cheers.

Re: Forbidden
All, the host has now rectified the issue after identifying what was triggering mod_security. Bigfella237, could you please try and modify your topic and let me know how it goes?
Big thanks to Bigfella237 & matthewn1983, and of course the host, for helping me out with the issue!

Re: Forbidden
Was just having a quick look at that scenario on a few forums, possible solution is to add the following lines to the .htaccess file in the root of the board. SecFilterEngine Off (*disables mod_security im assuming) SecFilterScanPOST Off SecFilterInheritance Off http://www.askapache.com/htaccess/mo...

Re: Forbidden
After more investigation, it seems the server is blocking posts which have more than 3 links in a post through mod_security. For example, each site in the GRN Site topic has 3 links, the ACMA link, the GRN coverage link, and the Google Maps link. Without the links, it goes through, and only leaving ...
