Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes. Ive tried with a wildcard talkgroup and with defined known talkgroups. The talkgroups are assigned to a scan list and the scan list shows as active on the TRX-1 LCD screen. Just no received audio. Its doing my head in.
Cheers

Whistler TRX-1 settings for NSW GRN
Hi Folks I’ve recently purchased a Whistler TRX-1. I currently run a collection of Uniden scanners including 996XTs, so I’m not unfamiliar with trucking scanners, but I’m struggling to configure the TRX-1 to receive the NSW GRN. I’m using EZscan to program. I have created the system as Project25 wit...

Re: Listening to your scanner around the house
Transmitting on the FM Broadcast band @ 1w is WAY over the permitted power limit per the LIPD (10uW). You would need to be very careful with that one. Could get the attention of the ACMA. I use a commercial FM rig tuned into the 433MHz LIPD allocation @ 25mW and VOX key it from the main scanner. The...

Re: Programming Rural Fire Service p25
Hi
you dont need to set the NAC unless you wish to monitor that NAC only. just set the frequency, leave step and modulation set to AUTO. Set Audio type to "Digital Only" do not set a CTCSS tone (they are not used anyway) and you should be good to go.

Yes the old FCC mandated 800MHz cell phone block on US product. Been caught by that one a couple of times now.

Re: FS: Brand new UBCD396XT full warranty
Hi Russell
Other than the pre-prog search bands, what else is different between the BCD & UBCD396XT? I ask because I already own a BCD396XT but would consider changing is significant advantage.
