Re: New RFS 2022 Radio Profile Video
The one caught my eye. I’m not aware of any National PSN liaison channels. Likely they mean the national simplex channels.

Re: Tapatalk
Noticed that the recent site updates have killed Tapatalk access. Getting an ‘illegal use of $_server’ error when I try to view topics. Has Tapatalk access been removed, or is this an unknown error? Tapatalk is unfortunately still not working, and I noticed today ‘ScanSydney’ has been removed as an...

Re: NSW RFS: East Region - All TG's and Frequencies
It’s would appear many of the PMR frequencies are now defunct, with the GRN being using in many areas. If anyone has an updated list I will happy update the post on page one with the latest info, especially since fire season is only around the corner.

Re: USDS100 Firmware Upgrade Soon!
No worries, I figured I'd better ask. I think the one I have is a US model, but I don't think there's truly any real difference between each of the models from what I can see from various Youtube videos. The US model (SDS100) has restrictions in place on the lower part of the VHF band and in the 80...

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Looks like the first NSWPF GRN/PSN site is about to be set up on the North Shore. Site 001-081 CC 467.5125 (08-0000) is currently appearing as failed/isolated off Chatswood 001-073. For want of a better name I have called it Chatswood (NSWPF) on my DSD site file (to distinguish it from the main sit...

Satellite Equipment & Airtime for 700 FRNSW Vehicles
I read this as FRNSW admitting that the GRN isn’t up to the task in emergency situations, especially as they say this is in response to the 19/20 bushfires, and that they have had to go to an external, third party satellite MESH provider to ensure continuous communications. Individual emergency serv...

UT has thrown up a couple of TGs around that one, all have been quirks.

Re: NSW SES Profile V1
Thanks Grant - I saw there were some updates on the NSW GRN Scan website and was actually going to post here as well, but didn’t know if anyone would still be interested. Of note, I have noticed a lot of the crews up north (if not all of them) over the last week have still been referring to the old ...
