CTCSS for Katoomba is 123Hz - a little fairy tells me that their frequency will probably disappear in a few years time as they migrate to computers and the mobile network.

It would be nice if we started making more use of Google Spreadsheets on these forums. Could put freq lists in a spreadsheet and allow multiple authors and moderate any submissions.

The popping is an artifact of the Uniden 396T tuning to a P25 channel. It does not appear to be white noise but rather silent frames (I turned it up quite loud). Yesterday and today I've noticed that 10130 is becoming active quite alot. There is usually no broadcast, or there are tones sent.
