Sydney Royal Easter Show
Gday Following frequency is active, details are from 'RR'. Was heard from Alexandria, back through to Western Sydney. Obviously for the Royal Easter Show. Operator is clear, ground crews are encrytped. Mostly talking about keeping a look out for lost kids, hoodlums etc, and liasing with Show Securit...

Re: Highway Patrol Car callsign
Thaught of one thing for the Aerial Patrol Zone at Douglass Park on the Hume Highway, not far south of that zone is the Sydney Skydiving Center with its own air strip, wonder what sort of communication between the police and the skydiving center is setup. Maybe they liase with them somehow? Didnt he...

Dozens of Highway Patrol cars, motorcycles, covert units, Random Breath T...

Re: Highway Patrol Car callsign
Good work jaskel, will keep an eye out. But as that previous poster mentioned, visibile policing is the go. The unmarked Camden highway patrol (black/charcoal F6 FPV) gets so many people in and around the Hume Highway between Bargo and Narellan. Makes even me slow down a little knowing that its alwa...

Re: problems with Channel Whiskey
Another problem u hear quite offen on that channel is when a car calls, and then the signal locks so to speak with some awful feedback sound, takes them a good 5 minutes to try and resolve the problem. Just wipes the channel out with a constant transmission of something that sounds like data or very...

Re: Highway Patrol Car callsign
Yeah, ive seen that floating around Sydney a bit in the last week or 2. Just on another note, Just south of Campbelltown, towards Douglass Park on the Hume Hwy is a new Aerial Enforcement Zone, both directions. Signs were erected over the course of the weekend, the 500m white markings on the road ar...
