Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
MDRN is getting phased out anyway hence why the new NSWA MDT's have 3/4G capability.
It would be for a GRN site, portable coverage in the area is poor to nil in a lot of places.
cheers

Re: Replacement Aerial
The Diamond RH770 works a treat if you can put up with the length. They're normally used as a 2m/70cm handheld whip.
Been using them for years long before i got my amateur licence on my scanners.
Available too with SMA connector, normally BNC. Just add an S to the end of the part number.

Re: NSW P25 GRN - Site Listing (current)
Hi all,
Can confirm its off air now. Had a mate in the Tuggeranong valley just tune it up and no activity.
Its also not showing up on any neighboring sites as well, checked Bungendore, Mt Cowangerang, the BDA and Captains Flat.
Cheers

Re: Newcastle/Hunter TGs
It wont be ambulance stations doing the affiliates it will be the control centres.
They do have a fairly good backbone which would provide the means to get the links to the PMR.
cheers
