Re: Mobile One sold to Rojone...

Saw Greg the owner of Mobile One at the Wyong field day & he said the business was sold in 2017.
He now lives in QLD.

Re: Loggings

Anyone know what the open carrier pulse which happens every 1 minute on 163.1125 is? Sounds like the old analogue LTR systems.
Frequency registered to Liverpool council with transmitter located in Silverdale.

Thanks, John.

Re: Mobile One sold to Rojone...

Rojone are based at Ingleburn, Mobile one at Camden airport so both were based not too far apart. Mobile One was a big seller in Dick Smith stores but when DSE folded it possibly didn't help the business. Mobile One did not have a online store which might of helped. I remember going out to Camden Ai...

Re: National Parks & Wildlife

I was hearing Blackheath base being called up on 162.3625 with reports of checking camp sites & toilets. A helicopter also came up on channel to report in. My scanner did not pickup any subtone but what I did hear was the normal chirp of a MPT trunking channel. This frequency is on my list & recorde...

Personal frequency database cleanup

Over the past few months I have cross checked with the ACMA on registered users with what I had logged in my personal frequency database. I have been logging frequencies & users since 2006. Of the 2750 frequencies logged I have eliminated 776. Of these mainly courier & transport companies that have ...

Re: Scanners in TV series

Anybody watch "Shot in the dark - life & death in LA" on Netflix?
These news stringers have their cars decked out with Uniden scanners. One guy has about 6x base units sunk into his middle console.
Few aerials on the roof & boots of the cars.
Pretty impressive setups for going mobile!

Re: Loggings

Just reactivated the repeater at Canterbury Hurlstone RSL.
TX freq: 500.075mhz
Dipole mounted on the roof so get's a good view across Sydney.
Interested to know if anyone can monitor this from their home.
Will let you work out the subtones.
