I can confirm that FRNSW are keeping the "D" to denote P25 talkgroups & channels, and the letter "A" is being introduced to denote analogue channels (ie. 510 becomes A510, 801 becomes A801 etc). Hearing 20311 clear as a bell off Glenbrook for the last hour or so..

Thanks everyone for your assistance. I think I've got it sorted now....I've set up Glenbrook P25 trunking, and the scanner shows "DAT" when it receives the P25 Control Channel data. It also very nicely mutes this out, so one is not forced to listen to a heap of noise...time to start monitoring now! ...
